Terms of Use

Last updated October 29, 2026.

Who we are. Commonly is made by A3 Direct Solutions LLP (“we”). By using the Commonly app or this site you agree to these terms. Questions: support@getcommonly.com.

What Commonly is. A tool for two people who share a home to see who carries what and to thank each other. It is not therapy, counselling or advice, and it does not promise any outcome for your relationship.

Your account. You sign in with Apple or with an email address. Keep your device and email secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Privacy and visibility → Delete my account).

What you add. The answers, items, notes, photos and thank-yous you add stay yours. You let us store them and show them to you and to the person you pair with, only to run Commonly. Don’t add anything you don’t have the right to share, or anything unlawful or abusive.

Pairing. Pairing shares your space with one other person. Load Check answers and the question of the day stay sealed until you have both answered. You can stop sharing at any time; the shared space stays with the other person.

Commonly Pro subscriptions

Some features need Commonly Pro, an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. The plans are weekly and every 3 months; the price for your country is shown in the app before you buy.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
  • One subscription covers both people in a pair. If you stop sharing, Pro stays with the person who pays.
  • Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in Settings first.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The fine print

Apple’s license. The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. If they conflict, Apple’s agreement wins for the app.

Availability. We work to keep Commonly running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties, and may change or be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending. You can stop using Commonly and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Changes. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or on this page before the change applies.
